Hi, so I did bad on two of my APs, which I knew that I wouldn’t do as well on. (2s on AP spanish lang and AP lang). I got A’s on both classes, but i just didn’t do well on these tests. I plan to major in biology in college, but I’m just wondering if these would affect my chances of getting into UCs. Here are my other stats:

Maybe someone can chime in here, but when Collegeboard sends SAT and SATII scores, are the AP scores on there, too? I thought the AP Scores are sent in July after senior year if you indicate a final school on a senior year AP test.

If you knew you would do bad then why did you take those exams?
Sorry if that came out kind of *****y, it just doesn’t make sense to me.
Also, I think you can choose not to report AP grades, right?

AP scores are not mailed with SAT scores.
AP scores are only mailed when you ask them to, specified at AP administration time.
You self report AP test scores. (My school district also staples them to transcripts)

Yeah, some AP’s I took I had no interest in and just made sure I had an A in the class, without really studying for the exam. When I took the test (payed for by school), I didn’t send the scores to any college, and I ended up getting a 2 on one and a 4 on the other

OP… fireshark has verified what I first thought. you have no worries. Your schools will not see your AP scores during the app process; AP Scores aren’t sent with SAT scores. :)
