YAYAYAYAYAY!!! Congrats!!
Congratulations!
Thanks!!!
That’s so awesome @fendergirl ! We all could use some good news!
@Nhatrang , thanks. It aligns really well with what I’m going to grad school for, I get to go back to working from home 99% of the time (I currently commute 1+hr each way 3/4x a week), I won’t be on call anymore (I’m currently on call 1 week a month and usually wind up getting called several times off hours), and I got a really nice promotion (w/ a good raise) out of it. Good news x4!
Awesome!!! What do you do?
@Nhatrang something completely different, now. Lol. I did a bit of a 180. Shocked my whole department. I’ll message you!
Excellent news! Congrats!
Fabulous! Congratulations!
Win-Win-Win!
That is fabulous news!
Update- new job has been going well. Had a lot to learn like any new job but am all settled in now.
Thanks for the update!
That’s great. Often when you start a new job you realize how many of the old tasks you could do on “autopilot” … lots of learning. Or as it has sometimes been described, “drinking from a firehose”.
@colorado_mom , definitely was drinking from a firehose the first few weeks!! My friend whom is on this team, who referred me to the job, said that I was the only person she could think of in the entire company that could come in and pick up the job in a week with very little help. I’m like, you may have thought i picked it up in a week, but I’m still learning new things every single day. Lol.
Ha… then you move into the next phase - "The more I learn, the less I know… "
