I did worse my second time taking sats =[

<p>well… im not in the best of moods and have a few quesions.</p>

<p>the first time taking the sat, i got
critical reading - 610
math - 530
writing - 530</p>

<p>so I was generally happy becuase I figured I could get into a few schools. but I wanted at least a 1200 on CR and math, so i wanted to take it again.</p>

turns out, i did a little worse the second time around, which usually doesnt happen.
I got
critical reading - 580
math - 520
writing - 520</p>

<p>so i went from an 1140 to an 1100 for CR and math…</p>

<p>so ultimately… how will college look at this when I apply? Will they frown upon the fact that I went down in score, or is it really true they only care about your highest scores?</p>

<p>I’m in the same situation as you are. I didn’t really show much improvement from the first and second time :S.</p>

<p>First time:
CR: 510
M: 640
W: 440
Essay: 7</p>

<p>Second Time:
CR: 510
M: 610
W: 480
essay: 8</p>

<p>pretty much, they are about the same. I’m kind of ****ed off =/</p>
