<p>If the colleges don’t ask what you did, then it doesn’t matter. However, some colleges do; Rensselaer had an essay that asked how you spent the last 2 summers. In that case, highlight how you’ve been reading. Talk it up about enjoying literature, expanding your knowledge, etc.</p>
