I have a 3.0 GPA and a 1250/1600 SATs, I know thats not that good, but OSU accepts like 70% and I always hear its an easy school…is there anything can do?

Even though OSU has a high acceptance rate, only 6,000 out of the 12,000 students they accept actually enroll (which is only 1/3 of all applicants who apply). They’ve been raising their academic standard in the past couple of years, so it’s hard to say it’s still a big safety school. If you really want to go to OSU, I suggest attending one of their branch campuses or CSCC because you’ll be able to transfer after a year (assuming you get decent grades). It’ll save you a lot of money and is pretty convenient.

Layla, is your 3.0 GPA weighted or unweighted?

Are you an Ohio resident?

People in my school didn’t get in with 29’s and 3.3’s. They got deferred.

See JJG’s thread on the subject of regional campuses. They have open enrolment for Ohio students and an easy transfer policy to Columbus.

oh ok, i actually thought it was much easier to get in. And its unweighted.

Layla

Are you sure you did not get deferred? Did you not send something they needed? Contact the admission’s office. Something does not seem right that you would have just got rejected.
