<p>I applied to the R.O.M.E (Reed Overnight Multicultural Experience) in September. I did not get in. I am still interested in Reed and I am not sure if this is a huge indicator that I will not get in. The test scores (1770 SAT) that I submitted for R.O.M.E weren’t the best but my essays were pretty good. My test scores are much better now (30 ACT). I know someone that goes to Reed and I feel very comfortable in the environment. I am a quite a sex positive commie myself. I would just like to know if anyone got rejected from R.O.M.E but was still accepted into Reed. Is there still a chance? My test scores and essays will be of higher quality. </p>
<pre><code> Also, I am a huge activist in my community as far as women and racial/gender minority rights go. I tended to discuss that in my interview. I have heard that Reed doesn’t have a very present activist community but the Reedies I have met are very driven to make change. I am concerned that my interviewer might have been displeased with my constant mention of activism and social issues.
