A Physics or Chemistry SAT II test is required for the School of Architecture, but I didn’t take one and was still accepted.

I’m kind of worried now – are they expecting me to take one before I graduate from high school? If I don’t, or I take one and get a bad score, will I be rescinded?

I would just take it sometime before you go to college. No, I’m almost positive that they would not rescind you for that…the only way you could get rescinded is if you get D’s or an F.

If you’re in, you’re in. Congrats

I have a friend who was a freshman in CMU’s arch program this year; she didn’t know about a required Physics/Chem SAT until I started freaking out about it to her haha

In the end, I did take the Physics SAT, decided not to send it after I saw my crap score (I loathe physics with a passion) and still got accepted into CMU’s Architecture major.

That being said, I doubt they really give a damn.

That’s really reassuring, thanks! Though now I feel bad for all the people I know who didn’t apply just because they didn’t take the “required” tests…

I got accepted to architecture too and I sent my SAT 2 Physics score of 660 to them… haha I was expecting a 600 on that thing, I was SO happy I got a 660 (which is still pretty crappy!)
I’m thinking they really don’t care about it all that much!
