I didn't take the ACT.

It’s pretty much too late for any action now, but I’m just curious. I took the SAT and got a 2360, first try Junior year. (I took one Freshman year for some placement stuff but I don’t think that matters much)
Also took 2 subject tests, did pretty well.
I studied very hard for the SAT, and barely even looked at ACT stuff, so I chose not to take that test.

Are there any downsides to only taking one test?

Not if you do as well on the SAT as you did! Nothing to worry about.

@saberchild - don’t dwell, you have a (close to) perfect score. You must have spent all your extra time focusing on grades and essays - which was exactly the right thing to do!
