<p>I just realized that not waiving my rights to see my teacher recs was a huge mistake!!! But how much do you think that will affect my chances!?</p>
<p>I’m not sure, but rarely, especially at large research universities, will you get t he chance to actually re-read your application, so I’m not sure why people don’t waive them.</p>
<p>At the time I wasn’t really thinking and just didn’t waive my rights, but will the colleges still take those teacher recs seriously?</p>
<p>It doesn’t matter that much. The advice would be to waive it, but it’s no big deal.</p>
