I don't get the transcript thing

I don’t get the transcript thing…
so Brown is going to see the courses I’m going to take…

This is my plan:
after a week our second semester starts (which means that the transcripts and courses are already send and received)
I’m going to change 3 of my AP courses to P.E. , Weight Lifting, and tracking…

However, I’m wondering if Brown is going to see my course changes… which they won’t be happy about…Lol

thx guys

IIRC, your school is obligated to send them the end of the year information and Brown reserves the right to rescind offers based on major changes in academic performance.

Likely to happen? No. Stupid for you to leave yourself open to? Yes, especially considering those APs can alleviate a lot of your work load once you hit college.

My own personal opinion-- it sickens me that people try and “game” the admissions process. Have faith in yourself and sell yourself-- not anything more or less. Be honest and passionate and things will work out how it is supposed to.

Honestly, I took 5 or 6 APs senior year, I can’t remember, and I was still out of school at 1230 every day and had an easy year. Suck it up.

Lord…the IB classes are killing me… AND I really think I need a break after all these years…
So does the “major changes in academic performance” include crouse changes after two weeks?
thnx

It may. I don’t know. They reserve the right to rescind at any time if they feel that your performance change indicates that you shouldn’t be allowed in or if they feel misled, I guess.

It happens VERY rarely, mind you, but rarely is not never.

kk thx a lot!!

“Lord…the IB classes are killing me… AND I really think I need a break after all these years…”

If AP/IB classes are too much for you, then you might want to reconsider applying to a school of this caliber.

lol…I mean comparing to other seniors…they said senior year should be a fun year

Haha trust me, I’m in full IB, and you can be a GENIUS- and IB Year II will still be hard :stuck_out_tongue: (assuming you didn’t take all the really easy classes like Math Studies haha) :P

Good luck with finishing your senior year and getting in! Try to be safe and not change your classes a whole bunch, or if you REALLY want, then only drop one or so, I think that’s the safest option :)
