<p>To all that feel like things happen right after they make reference to events that are not in existence yet, feel free to comment. If that didn’t make sense, it’s alright.</p>

<p>I am virtually a wreck right now.</p>

<p>Here’s the issue:</p>

<p>Sometimes, I might joke with my friends about something, say, one time, I joked with my friend a tidal wave that took out all the coastal regions of Asia and beyond, and that it would be rediculous, and how funny it woudl be to happen on my grandmother’s birthday. AND IT DID. And I was freaked out by that. </p>

<p>Next, we have another issue. One time, I had a dream about a gun. Not just one gun, but many. And weird things going on with it. The day that I woke up, what happens? A school shooting in Harrisburg, PA. That continued my freaking out.</p>

<p>There have been a few other incidents…like the other time, I had another preconceived notion. I sat up in my bed, two nights before we were returning from Florida. I said to myself, i cannot get on that plane. something’s going to be dreadfully wrong. I got on that plane. And you know what? The engine stopped working almost as we went on the runway. Figure that.</p>

<p>The most recent and horrifying of issues is this: Yesterday, I wanted to test out my writing abilities and see if I could freak out my mom (AS A JOKE, mind you,) about a current but you know, not yet happening event (or so I thought.) So, I wrote it about how “channel 11 news reporter so and so saw anthrax and new biological weapons and how Al Qaida was getting stronger and more hostile towards the US.” Terrorism has always been a huge issue with our country (at least since 9/11,) but…I DIDN’T KNOW THAT MY ARTICLE WOULD COME ONE DAY BEFORE THIS: <a href=“http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19730468/?GT1=10150[/url]”>http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19730468/?GT1=10150&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>It cuts off I think at “kno…” so it looks kind of suspicious. I don’t know folks. It is just coincidence, or is there somethign in me I don’t know about? Has anybody else had weird happenings or foreshadowing events like these? I have others, but I can’t remember them at the moment. I just…am COMPLETELY freaked out. I looked on msnbc today just you know browsing. Never did i think my news article would not be a joke, and that my mom was so glad it wasn’t true. and today, it is.</p>

<p>Perhaps you jokes should be more frivilous and less conceivable? It’s one thing to joke about something that’s funny and light-hearted, but it’s another to joke about something that could involve death and destruction.</p>

<p>BTW, I have had this experience. When I was young, I often made up hurricanes and stuff. One of them was named Katrina, and I drew a graphic that showed it making landfall as one of the most powerful hurricanes on record. Guess what happened in 2005?</p>

<p>Suggestion: don’t worry about it, and don’t think be paranoid that it will come true. It’s easier to remember prophecies that do come true, then ones that don’t. I’m sure it’s pure coincidence.</p>

<p>One example for me:</p>

<p>My mom was pregnant and I was 4. She went into her doctor for a check up and there was something wrong with the baby. She sat my sister and me down and proceeded to tell us that something was wrong with the baby and she would have to go in the next day for more tests. I told her not to worry. I told her that there wasn’t anything wrong with the baby, but that she was going to have twins.</p>

<p>Needless to say, the next day she called saying the babies were fine.</p>

<p>A couple of experiences, from my parents, which have done disfavors for me–</p>

<p>My dad was worried about the rod, which held the curtains, falling. One night I was trying to catch a spider, and I accidently knocked it over. Also one morning he was really paranoid about me being tardy to school, and like clockwork, I arrived tardy.</p>

<p>Last year, during Quarter 2, my mom was really worried about me getting bad grades - she kept insisiting on checking my grades. I got my first B, in Humanities, that quarter. Since then she has been less worried and I’ve gotten straight A’s again.</p>

<p>That sort of stuff happens to me… except with songs. I’ll be thinking of a song, and I’ll hear it less than a minute after singing it to myself. It’s happened about ten times, but here are some examples:</p>

<p>1- I was rereading Catch-22, and had just gotten to the part about Snowden. My iPod was on shuffle, and it immediately “shuffled” to the song “Snowden.”
2- I was on a bike ride, and was singing the song “Love Shack” at the top of my lungs. Five minutes later, when we stopped in a town square to get some water, speakers in the square were playing “Love Shack.”
3- One night at my radio shift, we had a “90’s Pop” hour. We all played the cheesy 90’s tunes that we managed to find. Our greatest find was LFO’s “Summer Girls.” The next day during homeroom, I was telling my friends during homeroom about how absolutely terrible that song is. One of my friends didn’t know what song it is, and wanted to listen to it on my iPod. The second that she said that, our morning announcements finished, and “Summer Girls” started playing (after the announcements and for the rest of homeroom, the announcement crew plays various songs).</p>

<p>I still think that all of my weird moments like those ones^^^ are just coincidences, but they’re pretty cool nonetheless =)</p>

<p>Oh wow. That happen to me and my friend before.
We were annoyed by this girl in our 2nd period class in 6th grade. Some how our conversation ended with us saying she would get in a car accident fly out the window and hit a tree. </p>

<p>Well we both ended up going to a different schools and a year later several of my friends had told me her parents had gotten into a drunken car accident and the girls seat belt broke and she flew into a tree. </p>
