You need to follow your passion - and I do not agree with the advice to avoid the majors you note because they are bad for Law School. My D is a 1L at a top 30, and she was a Criminal Justice/Psychology Double Major.
So consider a Double Major as it’s really not a lot more classes than a minor, that shows a broader commitment and also let’s you balance. I do like the English recommendation if you like that path, as it’s true that Law School is a lot about reading for understanding and writing. Were also told by her second choice that STEM majors are strongly considered, and we were surprised when they said they consider Psychology a STEM major…my whole point is, major in something you have passion about, you will do better and be happier.
