I hate science and math so I’m afraid to major in anything science related.
What should I do?

Get a copy of the Book of Majors – CollegeBoard has it, or your guidance counselor or library may have a copy. Take a packet of post-its - colored are great, “green” and “yellow” work well. Read through all the options in the book. It will take you a little while. Mark with “green” anything that sounds GREAT. Mark “yellow” on the “maybe” ones. When you are done, look it over for patterns/groupings. You may find you have some closely related items that are pointing you in a specific direction. Or just a few that really appeal to you.

Then try to find colleges that are a good fit for what you have marked and are most interested in. You don’t have to decide for sure before you go, but make sure the majors you are most interested in are offered. You can take a couple of classes in a few different areas you first 3 semesters, spend time in the career/placement office learning more, then pick a major.

Well you know you don’t want to major in science or math haha!

There’s still plenty of majors out there. Business, journalism, languages, liberal arts. It all depends what you’re interested in and what you want to do with your life.

What are your personal goals?

I’d recommend that you choose colleges that are financially reasonable, that have environments you would feel comfortable in, and that have a wide range of majors for you to explore and possibly major in. Try to find a school that is strong in different departments that might interest you or look for schools that make it relatively easy to switch majors or enter majors of interest when you’re undivided. Some schools make it easier to switch around majors and departments than others.

I’d recommend that you look for a school that’s well-rounded, that has GE requirements that allow you to explore, and that makes it very easy for you to enter whatever major/department/school that you choose. You don’t need to know what you want to major in before you even apply to colleges.

I hate science because if a bad science experience.
I basically just sick at math lol
