I don't know what to do w/my life

Unlike y’all, i am undecided about my future. if i get in as an undeclared, can I still take classes for pre-professional courses? or are there some kind of requirements i have to meet during frosh yr?

same here. i have still yet to find a nice group of people to hang around or any girls that i would consider for a relationship. well, a few but they are taken. and guess what, i am a college freshman. chill out kiddo.

to answer your question, yes. requirements, uhh… have fun? take eng comp 3 if you didn’t score well enough on sat writing or didn’t do ap lit or eng? date me if you are a cute girl?

“i have still yet to find a nice group of people to hang around or any girls that i would consider for a relationship.”

i think somewhere there was a disconnect in what you guys were talking about.

unless fastmed chooses his major according to the availability of guy and girl friends

“i have still yet to find a nice group of people to hang around or any girls that i would consider for a relationship.”

HAHAHAHA you talk like you have soooooo many girls to choose from. i don’t see any girls fighting to get in your pants.

What do you mean by pre-professional courses? Medical school? Anyone can enroll in math, chemistry, physics, and biology courses. The pre-requisites tend to cover GE requirements (e.g .Chem 14A and LS1) if anything. It’s OK to come in as undeclared. For now, your main concerns in terms of majors should be: music/arts/typical-major/engineering since they’re in different colleges at UCLA and will require different admissions processes. The first two categories include auditions and/or portfolios. Also, engineering is a bit more difficult to get into than regular College of Letters & Science.

Oh FastMEd!

hibiscus… i <3 you!!!

well, obviously girls aren’t fighting to get into my pants, but i am still selective in what types of girls i associate with.

dude, you told the OP to date you if he or she were a cute girl.

standards? in my fastMEd?

Hahaha, fastmed had a self-inflicted embarrassing moment there…

Gotta be careful what you say, dude, people pounce here :p…

ahh another classic CC moment.

you’re 18. enough said.

jjjjjj89, if you’re undeclared you can more or less take whatever classes you want that can work toward your GEs or college requirements. Just because you don’t specify a major doesn’t mean you’re banned from any classes. The only times I’ve encountered classes that are restricted to majors have been upper division classes and since you’d be an entering 1st year, you wouldn’t have to worry about that. you can use your first two years deciding what you want to major in.

btw, fastMED, stop looking. you’ll find an amazing girl when you least expect it AND about the friends thing: if you have yet to join clubs and organizations that you’re interested in, do it! you’ll most likely find more people with similar personalities and interests there instead of in class or on your floor…

no kidding. colorguard = my social life.
too bad we’re mostly girls lol!

SEE I TOLD YOU SO as;lfkds;lkfjd;

ckings86, that’s the problem. most of the girls that i find attractive are engineers or premed, and i am in many business clubs…

i guess i could always join the premed and engineering clubs, research societies, etc… =?

Or you could become a premed

Yeah, all I heard here was whine whine whine whine betch betch moooan.

ditto w/hibiscus lol.

start hanging out in the laundry room. or other common areas that don’t don’t depend on one’s major xD

time spent complaining on CC is time wasted. instead of reading this, you should be making an effort to meet new people. end of story.
