I started economics and one of our first most important modules is Management and Business administration.

I don’t understand anything. Maybe because the rest of my classmates already have studied the subjects in highschool whereas I did mostly scientific subjects and have no clue.

Could you help me, e.g. suggest some good, idiot-friendly websites that introduce subjects such as management, organizations, corporate governance etc.?

thanx

Read Drucker’s first book.

What’s there to not understand? If you have anything resembling social skills, then it should come to you intuitively.

wikipedia.org, ask.com, google.com

@barrons:
do you mean “Introduction to Management”?

@futurenyustudent:
I’m not a “human-nature” absolutist; e.g. I don’t take for granted when a book says “ALL humans have the same hierarchy of needs”; to be honest, our university’s management books are full of such statements and generalizations that go against my intution and against my experience of multiple types of “human nature”.
I must admit that in a first moment, it seemed to me as if our management teacher was trying to indoctrinate/brainwash us.

Yeah, but where to start? Maybe I need to understand the background. I’m not sure what I’m lacking. Should I concentrate on articles about economic history in order to understand all that stuff?

“The Practice of Mgt.” I guess it was not actually his first book but his most famous one.
