i don't understand certain villans...

so i was watching power rangers samurai and apparently the bad guys (whos costumes are made out of plastic) want to flood the world by the waters of the sanzu river. why does this make sense? how does it benefit the bad guys?

at least in the old power rangers ivan ooze could benefit from enslaving people.

power rangers was my example here, but this goes for many villains… like those that seek to end the world. i mean, why???

discuss.

Some of the best villains are the ones with no clear motive. If it’s revenge, or they want money, or whatever, that’s one thing. But if it’s just this inherent evil that has no explanation? Example: Iago from Othello.

Ending the world makes sense if you hate life and everything to do with it…it’s like…if I can’t have it, no one can…
although, most villains want to control other people…in fact control the whole human race…

I’m fascinated by villains and serial killers!!
