I got a 2280 last June as a sophomore. Then, I studied much more for SAT throughout my junior year in hopes of getting a perfect score… but i got a 2040…?
I don’t know why it’s so much lower than last Junes score, but I would worry about it.
I’m no admissions officer, but I’m pretty sure a 2280 combined with a solid resume will get you into just about any university. A perfect score is not necessary.
Actually, are you saying you got a 2280 on the PSAT as a sophomore? In that case I would say just repeat the same studying habits as sophomore year. It’s exactly the same as the SAT except there’s an essay portion, so no big deal to improve.
Does anyone think college board will give a few extra points to the Math or CR sections? It seems as if everyone’s score went down
No. And a handful of people on CC does not constitute “everyone.”
