I don't which state university in MA to choose? Please help...

I am commuting to college and the two colleges in my area that are within commuting distance are UMass Dartmouth and Bridgewater State University. I plan on majoring in computer science and minoring in math.

Both computer science programs are ABET accredited. Bridgewater is considered a “teaching school” and Bridgewater State is a little bit more lowly regarded than UMass Dartmouth for some reason. Is Bridgewater really that bad? Will I get a decent education if I go to Bridgewater State? Will employers look down if I went to Bridgewater even if I know computer science?

Bridgewater started out as a teaching school but it’s been more than that for a number of years. UMass-D does have a better reputation overall, can’t speak specifically to comp sci. You’ll do well coming out of either school if you work hard and take advantage of opportunities that come your way such as internships.
