i feel like dropping out of uci...

very devastated, i’m very disappointed in myself and i dont know wat to do.

wen i took the subject A writing test, i had a really good topic and i thought i would do well but i didnt’ manage my time too well so i only had time to copy half of my essay into the real thing… FAILED

i had to take academic english test. Unfortunately that time i had a very bad topic which i had no idea wat to write on. I passed the reading part but FAILED the writing part.

u can say i’m stupid, u can say i can’t write or watever. i already told myself all that stuff so now wat i like to hear is some input. …Also i’ve been in the US for 6 years so i guess thats where the problem came from.

They told me to take Humanities 20C before trying to satisfy Entry Writing (which is 39A). That means i have to take 2 extra english courses before taking Writing 39B and 39C like everyone else.

Now my whole schedule is messed up and i am a mess.

Humanities is only offered during the school year not the summer. Both series 39A-B-C and Humcore 1A-B-C are offered in order in the fall, winter and spring.

I dont know if i can take any english course at the same time. What is the best combination in this situation?

I’m doing psychology and premed. Plz help me if any of you can.

Do you think i can succeed at UCI if i can’t write under pressure.

take an extra quarter or year to graduate, no big deal. spread out your classes especially if you’re a premed

yeah, although don’t spread tooooo much, Med schools want to see that you’ve challenged yourself sufficiently and can succeed while handling a big workload. Most people don’t get done in 4 years anyway. By the time you finish school you’ll have taken 50-60 classes, so a couple extra writing classes isn’t a huge deal in the big scheme of things.

take some of the classes at sa community college and transfer them
