I feel like I should have more options...

I’m from Minnesota, and I’ve already applied to the U of Minnesota (as a close to home backup), University of Kansas, and Mizzou. I’m in the process of also applying to Loyola Chicago. I’m looking into other schools (both state and private) but I have no idea where I could get an, and I really don’t want to waste money on apps.

I have a 3.8 GPA and a 29 ACT, I’m involved in speech and I’m a drum major in our marching band, I’ve also been working at my job for a year and a half. (so I have decent extracurriculars.) I’m looking into a Comm/Journalism major. Any suggestions? I am open to both private and public schools, but financial aid is an issue.

Marquette?

I liked the school, but didn’t care for the neighborhood.

Wisconsin.

You say that you need f/a…what is your family’s EFC? and can they pay their EFC?

If your family can’t afford its EFC, you may need to look for merit $$.

University of Dayton (Catholic)

With a ACT 29 and your GPA, you would get a merit award between $36,000 - 60,000 for your 4 year education (so…about…9k - 15k per year).

Their website… [University of Dayton](<a href=“404 : University of Dayton, Ohio”>http://www.udayton.edu/)
