I feel like I won't get in ANYWHERE.

Yes I too am in a horrible situation. I applied to 2 safeties, 2 matches and one reach. I was rejected from one of my match schools! I’ve given up on my reach school (even though I won’t hear back until April) and already sent in housing for my 2nd choice.

I would say its better to have your confidence be lower so that you will be happier when you get accepted or be less sad when rejected. I was too confident about my match schools, and when I was rejected from one of them it was like a slap on the face bringing me back to reality.

Trust me, its better to be insecure than overly confident.

im a sophomore and i feel like I won’t get in anywhere

Sophmore in college or high school?

Um…they’re probably in high school. I don’t think many college students suffer from the anxiety quite as bad as us high schoolers. : )

And getting into a good grad school isn’t as competitive as undergrad.

anyone have any info on mental illness rates among college applicants?

College applicants are most likely more insane than your average Joe, I bet.

So…36 days until I get rejected from all of my reaches. Yes!!!

A thread after my own heart
I’ve already been rejected by one of my reaches and am waiting for decisions from 4r, 6m. No safeties at all. UGH! And I’m an international seeking aid.
