I’m about to be a junior this fall, and I’ve been commuting the past 2 years. I live an hour and a half away from campus and drive everyday back and forth to save money. I have practically no friends & I’ve never attended a college party, football game, or any clubs (I just don’t have the motivation to drive back and forth for anything besides classes and I can’t stay late at college either without my overprotective parents freaking out). Idk what to do
How are you paying for school and transportation? A 3 hour daily commute is a lot. Is that the closest school to your home?
Living on campus definitely helps a lot, but I’m not sure if money is an issue for you regarding that. Talk to people in your classes and join some clubs that interest you. Maybe break it to your parents that you’re an adult now and can stay out late. They should trust and respect you enough to do that.
