I feel that I truly messed up on my application...

So I applied for the priority deadline for UIUC because I feared that I was not going to get in due to my ACT score. I applied, and they received all of the required materials before Nov. 1, so I began to force myself to sleep because my anxiety can get crazy at times. However, I went back on curiously today and I freaked out so hard and I realized that I chose the WRONG second - choice major. With that, I ask the following:

  1. Can I change it?
  2. If I don’t get into my first choice major, but get in with my second choice, will I be able to switch over later?
  3. Can you switch between the colleges? (e.g. UIUC’s Liberal Arts and Science to its College of Engineering)

Question 1 should be asked of the Admissions Office.

Intercollege transfers happen all the time, as do transfers of all kinds…if you have the grades.
