I figured this would be the place to ask a port forwarding question

<p>Here’s the deal…</p>

<p>Where I live the only reasonable option for high speed internet is public wifi through World View wireless. I need to forward a port, but the network administrator here doesn’t want to, claiming he would have to drive out to the broadcast tower to do so. I know he’s lying but it doesn’t matter if he won’t do it.</p>

<p>Are there any other options, such as a VPN, to get my port forwarded?</p>

<p>just use a different port , 80 is usually always open.</p>
