I got 2 B's second quarter in my sophmore year. Is it bad?

Hello everyone,I am a sophomore student who is basically talking all of the honors classes that mostly juniors take at my school. I decided to take to honors sciences this year which was physics and chemistry, and this proved to be way more challenging than I thought. First quarter I got all A but second semester after midterms I’m going to have 2 B’s. I want to go to UCLA and am wondering if I’m losing a big competitive edge with these grades.

Thank you for your time.

Admission to UCLA is very competitive even for students with all A grades.

Plus these B grades aren’t your end of year grades.

If you don’t get accepted to UCLA, it’s probably not because of two B grades. You will never know the reason.

Just move forward, and do the very best you can. That’s really all you can do, right?
