I got 540 in Physics! I explained Einstein Field equation to students!

It’s funny. I am familiar with the most difficult concepts in phyysics but I got 540! I was amazed! I am really good at physics but one prroblem is that the questions were long at the test and it look me alot of time to read them. I skipped about 20-30 and rushed through others. I think this test requires special preparation. I used Princeton Review and it was like no problem but at the test day, my mind didn’t want to think.
Also, heh, I got 600 in Math(2) which Ridiculous because I am in Tensor and Multiv. Calculus. And now, what?back to sohcahtoa? wth…

I have all summer what do I do?

I am rising senior, I should apply September–>December?

Thanks…

I guess you just need to practice. You might just be making stupid errors (that was my problem), so do practice tests and see exactly why you did something wrong. There are lots of easy problems in the physics SAT II like lenses and mirrors and waves, so review these topics. Also, don’t second guess yourself.

It’s a known fact that geniuses often forget basic information. I think you should take a genius test and show that to colleges instead.

Tests are 50% knowledge and 50% knowing how to take a test (don’t quote me on the statistics!).

Although I don’t consider myself the smartest person or know everything, I do well on tests because I know the strategies involved, I know how to pace myself, and I know how to work to eliminate stupid mistakes. Many times, that can get you an even higher grade than just knowing information.

Test taking is in itself a game that you should learn. So for the summer, I would work on doing as many practice tests as I can under the same timed conditions. Find common patterns in stuff that you get wrong and work to minimize your mistakes.

You’re obviously not a genius because you can’t figure out how to manipulate a simple test.

subject tests are mostly basic knowledge of the subject presented in different ways which means you have weak foundation bruh.

Learn to retain information then.

I’d suggest taking the ACT so you don’t have to worry about those scores :P

Nobody’s called the ■■■■■ out yet?

^so is he lying about his score or the classes that justify his belief that he deserves a better score? I can see that he’s ■■■■■■■■, but half the posts on this website are ■■■■■■. We’re a bunch of self-entitled braggers that need to justify our bad scores and brag about our good ones.

To the OP - quit crying and have a seat at the adult table. Cool, you’re in multivariable calculus and you can explain the Einstein Field equation to other kids. I can’t do either of those things. However, my college app has significantly better scores in both of those tests because I didn’t walk in on test day expecting a perfect score without preparation. Go get a prep book and start crackin - next subject tests are on October 1.

Yes, I will take it again in October. That was my fault.

What that shows is that you have a terrible grasp of the basics.
