Just wanted to let you all know that it can be done.

I wrote about Thomas Jefferon’s foreign policy (if you’ll remember the question was about consistency of opinion) about 1/3 of the way onto the third page.

It wasn’t particularly long, and I didn’t cram my essay full of extraneous examples.

So for those who think you need at least 3+ literary/historical references, you really don’t.

That makes sense. I write all the time so maybe I’m just used to elaborating and analyzing a particular subject. But I think that in some cases, worrying about not having enough examples can actually lower your score because it has the potential to make your essay look like a laundry list.

is the SAT the 2 page essay? maybe it was the second page.

I get the ACT confused with the SAT.

If the ACT was the 4-page one, then I went 1/3 of the way onto the 3rd page, and in that case I have no idea how long my SAT essay was (it’s not available yet).

I’ve always believed that an essay score isn’t about how many examples you use, it’s about the skill of writing you display, as examlpe essays have shown me.

Next test I’m going suicide–1 writing example.
