I got a 580 on Math

First time I took it, I got a 480 (39th percentile) and now I raised that score by 100 to get a 580 (70 somethingth percentile). How can I get a 580 up to a mid 600s or low 700’s? Is it possible? I’m a lousy math student btw. Is there a way that you can learn tricks and stuff that can help you out on this section of the SAT?

Most of it is just problem solving skill, which can only be honed through practice. Some books recommend plugging in the answer choices or ‘ballparking’ the answer, but I have never used those strategies and scored 800 regardless.
