got decent SAT(>2250) AP (four fives and a four) and SAT2(800 800)
will my performance in Pumac boosts my chance of getting into Pumac?
Roughly 7%. Awards may slightly increase this percentage however bear in mind that there are many other components of your application that affect admissions chances. However the above stats would certainly place you in the viable applicant range so if you are interested, definitely apply.

the situation is a bit different for internationals, however, especially if you’re from china. from what i understand, usually a gold IMO or something equivalent in prestige would be desired, along with being stellar in other respects too. well, that’s kinda an overstatement, and pumac (being from princeton) would definitely help, but probably not as much as it would a local student due to the competitiveness (especially in mathy areas) of internationals. i definitely think you have a good shot though!
