I got accepted through MOSAIC, and I was wondering, where can I buy a Vandy hoody?

<p>I want to get one of those vandy hoodies (the sweatshirt with a hood). Can I purchase them online? If so, at what website (link please).</p>

You may want to save a little money until your visit as it may be the right time to buy NCAA Tourney t-shirts! Go 'Dores!</p>

<p>The internet is your best bet. The bookstore here charges 2-3 times the actual price. Also a bit of advice. Buy your books on amazon. You will literally save hundreds per semester. I made the mistake of buying my books at the bookstore my freshman first semester and I regret it deeply.</p>

<p>Thanks guys. Too bad they are all so expensive. Maybe I might just pick up a banner/flag but they cost almost 20 bucks. Grr…anywhere else where I can find a banner cheap?</p>

If you end up at Vandy, you will probably accumulate some Vandy apparel for free. Both of my kids received t-shirts during the orientation process and I think at the first football game. Every year when they came home I would notice shirts and ask where they came from and they would say, oh that was free at the baseball game, basketball game, etc. Sometimes they are insider type t-shirts. For example, D got one at a baseball game last year that said “The Price I$ Right” referring to Dave Price, Vandy’s star pitcher.
I think the bookstore has sales frequently, so you never know when you might pick up a bargain. For example, the NCAA Sweet Sixteen shirts that cost $16 or $17 last spring were selling for $5 when I was there for Parents Weekend in Sept.</p>

<p>I found out which organizations my son has become involved in by looking at the shirts he was wearing when he was home on break. In addition, the engineering school seems to give a free t-shirt if you help out with any activities.</p>

<p>Splintercell, if you attend the MOSAIC gathering, I’m pretty sure you will get a Vanderbilt shirt of some sort there. Also, even though the official bookstore site can be expensive, they often have close-out styles at big discounts.</p>

<p>They gave no free T-shirts at last year’s MOSAIC. They gave a free pen and folder but that was it.</p>

<p>go to the sec store and then go to vanderbilt’s section, you can google it, thats where I got my stuff, but 35 bucks is a good price for a hoodie, I paid 60 for my hoodie, it is nicer than that one, but 60 bucks is still kind of expensive, also when you visit the campus, they have a huge selection at the bookstore of hoodies and shirts and stuff.</p>
