<p>2.8 gpa, 39 creds, in-state. I know I asked this question many times before, but i feel that If i can make it into the Rutger main campus, I could possibly get into UMD. What do you guys think? Should I apply right away or wait until the end of this semester?</p>

<p>I congratulate you on your acceptance to Rutgers. I suggest that you should increase your GPA and aim for a 3.0 or higher, so that your cumulative GPA is at a 3.0 or higher. I don’t know if that is what UMD is looking for. Talk to the transfer advising counselors at UMD and they may assist you. I believe that you should wait until of the semester to apply. Make sure that you apply before June 01, 2012. Also, in the essay explain any circumstances in your academic records (so this would include low GPA, bad grades in classes, etc. and show UMD how you improve from that. Be honest with them).
