I got an 82 and a 95 on the SSAT...

I am applying to Phillips Andover, will they degrade me because of my low score, and will the 95 be good enough for them?

No

Your 95 certainly puts you in the ballpark, but there are many, many more things that Andover (and most BS’s) consider than just standardized test scores and grades.

82 is fine, 95 is fine IF they want you. Scores of that level, for the most part, won’t keep you out and they won’t get you in.

Are the 82 and 95 your overall scores on two different attempts at taking the SSAT? If so the admissions committee will only see your best score on it each section as they super score.

@BigBlueSwim actually they will SEE all of the scores and then pull the top scores for a super score.

@Center is correct; they will see both scores, but will consider the higher one.
