I got deferred is this a decent supplemental?

<p>Albany asked me for anything extra I had to boost my application so I wrote this down real quick as just a letter of interest. Let me know your opinions and honest feedback and suggestions are appreciated! </p>

<p>To Whom it May Concern,
I am writing to you to further express my interest in SUNY Albany. In early January I received the humbling news that I had been deferred early action. However, I have still kept my hopes high and have achieved outstanding success this quarter, receiving a 3.33 GPA for the marking period. I would consider it an utmost honor to continue my education at SUNY Albany in the footsteps of my brother. I look forward to hopefully being presented the opportunity to work with world renowned economics professors. I have also heard nothing but wonderful things about SUNY Albany’s job placement as well! If accepted I fully plan to enroll as a full time freshman student as Albany is my top choice. I look forward to hearing from the admissions office.

<p>I think they want to see a higher SAT score or ACT score. If it’s possible, study hard for the SAT and take it again.</p>

<p>My only recommendation is to find out who will be handling your application at the college (aka admissions representative for your area) and address it to him/her. I have written 2 of these and that is what i did for them.</p>
