<p>OMG I GOT IN. It’s gonna be a huge troupe of Kiwis and Aussies there next year. OUSE BABY YEAH.</p>

<p>I was at a retreat until my mates called up sayin I got a fedex letter. SO much for the retreat- I raced my way back into civilisation. It was true. I got in!</p>

<p>I seriously thought I was defferred- my interviewer said I was but now he tells me he was trying to keep my hopes low so I wouldn’t be dissapointed when the defferral came. I’m SOOOO HAPPY</p>

<p>I know it is not the best or most popular but here in the States it is what most folks know as Australian…the Formula 1 beer. Lager is better I agree but I was just toastin to ya American style…hats off to 'ya. Welcome to the IVY.</p>

<p>oh yeh and i forgot to ask u kjoodles, i read in some post that u were plannin on doin a semester at an aussie uni before u go. Are u still planning on doing this? Cos I was thinkin of doin the same thing (cept at a NZ uni), but then ive just been readin in some posts that the can rescind admissions?
I will probly email them to check anyway, but I was just wondering if u knew anything.

<p>Hey- yeah I posted something about that just then.</p>

<p>I’m NOT going to Melb uni for a semester. That is after I carefully read the conditions for admission as a FRESHMAN at Princeton. It’s a risk that I’m not going to take. Besides I’m going to enjoy a nice longer break… :)</p>

<p>I was going to but not anymore. I’ll still email and ask them if its ok just to keep my mindset fixed on studying … Ill post when I get a reply…

I’ve got no idea wat to do now!! I guess I could stay workin at subway (my job hehe) till I leave for Pton, but I really think I’ll go insane doin that fulltime. I live in a boring little town in the middle of nowhere, and there is nothing to do here!!</p>

<p>Congrat! You’re going to LOVE Princeton. I know you’re interested in math and physics, and my S says those departments are amazing. He has a Fields medalist for math and a Nobel Laureate for physics as a freshman.</p>
