OMG
you ARE amazing!
there’s NOTHING not amazing about your app kiddo.

WOOOW. Okay first off this is not a fake thread. Secondly, the APUSH stuff is for my bro. he is taking it this year and this is his first exam. I wanted to help him study so I got some info from people on cc. Everyone that’s saying im a ■■■■■ needs to chill out… I’m not being cocky or egotistical I just wanted to show people that normal people, like me, can get into harvard. JEEEZZ so many accusations…

Actually, i’m tempted to say it’s a ■■■■■ considering you are saying your abilities are “normal.” This is completely for you to get others to say WOW YOU ARE AMAZING, if this is at all real.

^ I believe that’s the sole purpose of this and many other threads like this. It’s all about stroking the ego.

You aren’t very convincing at all based on the content from the totality of your posts. I suspect any other objective observer to believe me also, but I’ll let them figure out what’s true to them.

Well, this gives me some hope (I have a 4.0UW/4.7W/2400 but weak EC’s) although your volunteering is huge. Your stats are of course great but I agree, it’s not like some people who are on 5 varsity sports, international olympiad winners and all that.
How were your essays in your opinion?

I don’t think middle eastern is considered a URM. And Indians/Chinese are minorities but have a much harder time getting into college than even white people because they are “overrepresented minorities.” The same may be true for Japanese/Koreans/Filipinos, but I’m not sure.

It really depends on where from the Middle East.
“Middle-Easterners” by legal definition are from Arab countries EAST of Bosporus and on the eastern Mediterranean, or Asia Minor. People from these areas can ONLY be considered as Caucasian, and will therefore receive no URM status.

Many times, North Africans such as Egyptians, Syrians, and Moroccans will be lumped into this group, although it is technically incorrect. These would be people from African countries, and would therefore be African-Americans (not black, big difference) meaning that legally, they should get be granted URM status. The whole process is very complicated.

That being said, however, we should take into account that although Middle Easterners from Asia will not be considered URMs, they do offer much diversity and will be recognized a little differently if nationality is indicated on application.

Definitely a ■■■■■ good catch. Just forget this faux thread its obvious this is just some weird falsity. Proof would be that his other threads are asking about things he apparently already did but the timestamp says otherwise, and then the fact theyre for his brother, but why would he not be able to find where to get books for exams he’s already taken?

Bernie Madoff has spoken! If he says someone’s lying… well… he knows best. lol

I can’t believe this. This is not fake. The only reason I say I’m not amazing is bcuz like 6 others of my friends have stats like this or better. This is why im confused. Also I havent won a single award while many on cc have won tons. This is why I was surprised. I only tried to help through this thread, because many believe if you havent won siemens you wont get into harvard. This thread was supposed to change this misconception. Tbh I don’t care if some people I will never meet believe me. All i know is, Im going to Harvard. :)

lollololololololol

I think it’s a long established fact on CC that there are no set guidelines for getting into the Ivies. Thus, your “help” was not necessary (but thanks anyway). Secondly, congrats on Harvard. You don’t believe you deserved to get in, so I’d reconsider your decision to attend. Regardless, have fun wallowing in high tuition costs!

Hope you get the email in a year! :D
