I don’t feel like it was very good. I’m afraid to look at my grade.

I GOT A 91%!!!

OKgirl,
Good essay. You have some interesting details and you have done a good job keeping it in present tense. Great job with the grammar. Keep up the good work!

Are you in 9th grade?

I got my lab report back today!
I got an 81.
But the good news is, I’m on pass-fail!

No, it is from college. I’m beginning to wonder if the teacher is just really lax on grading or if I’m just too hard on my own writing. If you would have read my essay, you’d understand why I was so nervous about my grade and why I’m very excited about the A.

Congrats on passing it!
My college labs reports have been much easier than my HS ones.

Congratulations! I’m sure you are a good writer and that you are too hard on yourself.

IDK…it just seems like a very Freshman teacher kind of comment

Seriously, you’re in college, why would you screw up on your tenses?

^^ I know… how hard is it to stay in one tense when writing? Your prof sounds like a softy :)

lol…and “Great job with grammar”

considering you are in college and probably have time to edit your paper, you would find the majority of you grammar mistakes…not 5th grade here.,

But sorry for being mean. CONGRATS ON THE “A”

No need to be rough. Maybe it was a particular type of writing, one that took a lot of skill to stay in the same tense. Or mabye it was just a regular essay, but many other people did not check their work and had a lot of juvenile mistakes. Either way, no need to critisize the praise that OKgirl recieved.

I said congrats…chill.

I know, but some people can be sensitive.

your name is OKgirl?

Ouch. I was just trying to be nice, but I’ll go hide in a corner now…

okay, time for this thread to die

^^You probably shouldn’t post then, as it brings it to the top of the list…

that’s really true.

The reason why I’m so happy is because this should have been a C+ grade at the most. I wrote 5 pages in 30 minutes. I don’t think the guy actually reads the papers or he has REALLY low expectations. I didn’t really even follow the instructions. It’s an online class and so far I have a 96% average and I haven’t even tried to do well.

Is it possible that he’s maybe not reading the assignments?

Of cousre its possible, if he has many students. He may just read part of it…

sorry for the misunderstanding, kikib1028. I hadn’t read the posts before mine, I was just being a little goofy with post #2.
