I have my fasfa processed can I now get more accurate estimates of cost of attendance at schools that don’t need a CSS?I have run NPC’s and am wondering if I can get anything more accurate. I saw a statement that said “The earlier you file your FASFA the more likely you are to get aid” does this pertain to me if I have not yet applied or been accepted to any schools?
No, except for the Pell grant. The Pell grant will be the same for all schools, and you should be able to calculate that based on the SAR.
Everything else is up to the individual school, even the amount for work study or a SEOG. Sometimes the NPC will be a little more accurate if you have your SAR.
