I got the WORST HOUSING EVER - *SCREWED*

<p>So I was checking my indiana email today and i finally got my housing assignment. Happy excitement turned into sadness then anger.</p>

<p>Assignment: Eigenmann Hall</p>

<p>Besides being on the WRONG SIDE of campus, as the business school is on the other side, this place i hear is FILLED WITH GRADUATE and UPPERCLASSMEN. I wanted a FRESHMAN filled dorm.</p>

<p>Oh yes googling this hall finds the following:</p>

<p>“For a long period of time, Eigenmann Hall was a hot spot for international students. At one point, students from over 100 different countries speaking over 40 different languages lived there.”</p>

<p>I am sorry but I already live in such a place. I am sick of it really. I wanted a majority white dorm (I am not white) for the experience.</p>

<p>“At one time in its history there was a very restrictive quiet hours policy because it had graduate and older students living there. This led some to nickname the dorm “Eigetraz”.”</p>

<p>NOOOOOO.</p>

<p>And some guy shot someone at Eigenmann Hall.</p>

<p>“The large asian and multicultural population caused the dorm to earn the nickname Tokyo Tower.”</p>

<p>No, I am sick of asians. I hate living with too many asians. SICK SICK SICK. (I am asian).</p>

<p>THe best part of this whole thing is:</p>

<p>Room: TRIPLE</p>

<p>TRIPLE?!?! TRIPLE wow. I did not want to live in a triple. At least give me a double when you give me the worst central dorm.</p>

<p>This sucks *ss to be honest with you. Complete Letdown. I applied around 4/1… that should get me into the other central Dorms at LEAST!!!</p>

<p>Is there any place to “swap” your room with someone else (but i doubt ANYONE would want my triple dorm). Request Room Changes?!? Some PLACE to get me out of this mess.</p>

<p>who knows? don’t go into school with such a terrible attitude. you might like it after all.
and even if you end up hating it, you can always change when you ACTUALLY GET THERE AND EXPERIENCE IT.</p>

<p>I guess i overreacted… my friend her brother lived there and says its great… just need to learn how to bus right :(</p>

<p>Eigenmann has the biggest rooms by far, a lot of people like it there. And you’re not taking classes in the B-School until your junior year. By the way, I did my housing in November, so don’t think you’re really early doing it in April, haha.</p>

<p>eigenmann is a really nice dorm- recently renovated. IUB is tiny. trust me you will not need a bus to get to your buildings unless you’re really lazy or something! if you dont like it, yes, you can always request a new dorm assignment. they usually fulfill them!</p>

<p>How do i request one… i know this is late but i am having roommate conflicts, a biggie ( i feel like we are going to get physical very SOON ).</p>

<p>Talk to your RA. He should be able to tell you what to do.</p>
