I got this link in an email from UCLA

[Reporting Changes - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/applicant/changes.htm)

"If you want to change your major after you have submitted your application, contact us with your request. Majors cannot be changed after the dates indicated below:

  • any major in the College of Letters and Science* January 31
  • any major in the other schools November 30
(Art; Engineering; Nursing; Theater, Film, and Television)"

Is this true? Has anyone done this/plans to do this?
Do the other UCs have similar policies?

If it’s posted on the campus website, take it at face value.

Each UC has a different policy (IF there is a policy) and not all campuses publish every policy, so you may need to contact the individual campuses for more information.
