I gotta chance?

Looking to get into their engineering program.

Stats:

GPA: 3.0
SAT Math: 720
SAT Verbal: 630
SAT Writing: 580

I have a lot of EC’s, all pretty good. I’ve taken over 15 credits at the University of Vermont, and am in a program that allows high schoolers to dual enroll (only 15 accepted in VT), so right now I’m taking 4 AP’s and Calc 1 and Chem at UVM. I’ve taken something around 13 honors/aps over my highschool, but I fear my gpa is just too low to have a shot…any opinions?

Because of your GPA you would likely go to a branch campus for your first two years.

It’s unweighted…does than change anything? It’s at an 87.5, some schools thats like a 3.3, my school is a 3.0.

I think he has a shot at main.

Actually your SATs are high enough so I guess you do have a chance at main. However, keep in mind the admissions page says it is based on two thirds GPA, one third everything else, so hard to tell. Also they admitted a huge class this year so it is possible that the coming years class will be smaller which means - harder to get in.
It is rolling admissions so apply asap!
