GPA: 3.2/4.0 UW 4.3W
Rank: 41/270 (Top 15%)
Courseload: AP Physics B/C, AP Comp Sci A, AP English Lit, AP Euro History, Linear Algebra, Health Class (Mandatory =’[, waste of time)
AP: Calc BC (5, AB Sub (5)), Chem (4), U.S. His (4), English Lang (3), Bio (4)
EC: Baseball, Science Nat’l Hon. Society, Math League, Science Club, Academic Bowl, Volunteerism, Etc.
Recommendations: 3 (2 Teacher, 1 Counselor) Very good recs
Essay: Pretty decent, not spectacular. Probably the average or slightly higher. </p>

<p>You have a higher SAT score then I do with similar stats otherwise. If people think I could be a match, you’ve got a good chance! Good luck…I’m so nervous. Mostly about NYU (it’s a reach but my top choice)</p>
<p>Haha, yeah same. I applied to NYU too. I don’t like how these private universities don’t tell you anything up until the time the decisions are released. Sneaky B words.</p>
<p>No, I haven’t. I don’t think it’s totally conclusive that those who haven’t received it are denied. My theory is that those who got it are most likely accepted, but they are still working to fill up all of there spots. I think it might have something to do with where you live, as well. But not entirely sure. Just have to wait it out…</p>
<p>well about NYU i did hear that there were another batch of emails sent out confirming an official acceptance to NYU. also if u didnt get the travel plans email theres a shot that u can get this one and its coming out in waves apparently. But ill just wait for the official letter to come. At least u know BU is consistent and will have everybody find out on the same day and not have only a select few know before hand.</p>
