<p>Well, trig has all sorts of applications in physics, calculus, engineering, CS…not exactly a “useless” subject. Go read a book on category theory.</p>
<p>If you take AP Calculus you will learn that there are all sorts of interesting (and dare I say fun) applications for trig. It’s a very useful skill not just for the SAT II but in higher level math as well!</p>
