I have a ~1900 SAT score. I'm doomed. Any colleges within that range?

<p>Everyone on this website seems to think my 1950 is pathetic because “good” colleges won’t even consider you application without a 2100. </p>

<p>I have come to realize that not everyone can get those “perfect” scores. I mean, if everyone got a 2100, that 2100 would no longer seem good. Simple economic reasoning.</p>

<p>Yeah, for most people on CC, it’s a top 25 college or nothing at all. For me, all I care about is quality and price. That’s why even though I’d like to go to a high-priced private college, I’d still be happy attending an in-state college so I can go into grad school debt-free. And nobody in the real world really cares where a bachelors degree comes from, they only care where a GRAD DEGREE comes from.</p>

<p>People sometimes get into HYPS, Ivies, other top colleges etc. (but usually not MIT/Caltech) if they have great EC’s with even lower scores than yours.</p>

<p>A score of 1900 is more than decent. SAT, while an important factor, is not the only determining factor. GPA, essays, extracurricular activities, recommendations, and class rank also contribute to the admissions process.</p>
