My SAT score is 1050 and my top colleges in CT are Central, Southern, Western, UHart, and University of Bridgeport. I have a good college essay but since my grade average is a C+ and not a B I’m not sure that I’ll be accepted.

Search the website above for the others. Click “Applying” and then either “Academics & GPA” (scroll down for GPAs) or “SAT/ACT Scores”.
Bridgeport and Hartford are your best chances, I’d say. A 2.3 is going to be the challenging part - do whatever you can to bring that up before applications are due.
You also need some good extra-curriculars too.
