I am wondering if my GPA will kill me as my GPA is at a 3.8 after this year. I am wondering if that makes a huge difference if I am at the top 2% at my school (I think I am either ranked 4 or 5 out of 242 students).

I hope this is a joke post. If you are ranked in the top 2 percent the admissions office doesn’t really care what the gpa is. How every school gives grades is very different. It is the rank which really tells them this. If there is no ranking it can be an isssue but even then most colleges have admissions officers familiar with the way a school does things.

Thanks, and no this isn’t a joke. I just thought that anything less than a 4.0 was uncompetetive but then again I don’t know too much about admissions.
