I sent in all my sat scores and I got 1890 and 2070 on them and I’m applying to ivy-leagues. I was planning to submit in my ACT score which is higher. Is it going to affect me a lot? I told them on my additional information section that because my mom had cancer, I only prepared for my act for a month of my december year and that I wasn’t familar with the SAT. It sounded as if I didn’t study at all for my SATs, so universities might think i’m lying. What should I do? Is all 4 years of hard work going into nothing?
i have a big problem.I sent in all my scores and I told them otherwise on the additional information
If you said you weren’t familiar with the SAT, that would mean that you didn’t know much about it. Apparently, you are familiar with it since you wrote it twice.
Your scores are on the lower end for those schools, but that doesn’t mean “4 years of hard work going into nothing.” That’s the nice thing about working hard and building a work ethic - it lasts with you throughout life. Apply to a few top schools but understand that you have a low shot with those scores. Pick some good match and safety schools and make the most out of college.
