I have a strong application except for my SAT Score...

So I am in the midst of applying for Colorado College as well as some other selective colleges and I believe that I have strong extracurriculars, essays, grades, and think that the teachers I chose for recommendations know me very well. The only bad thing is that my SAT score is not very good. My SAT score is a 1210. I already took it twice and cannot take it again because it will be too late since I am applying for Early Decision 2 (Due date is around January) What do I do?

Why can’t you take the SAT again if your application due date is in January? There are SAT dates in November and December.

What you do is cast a wide net. Apply to Colorado College and whatever other colleges you want… but also find some where that 1250 is within the middle 50% of accepted candidates. Those colleges are out there-- there are plenty of colleges that would be happy to have you, but they’re not typically considered to be “selective.”
