I was serious. Your life is over. Better learn the phrase “Would you like fries with that?”

sure…

“samtheclam” i like your name and good luck with the french issues

Samtheclam:

UCB/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach

Samtheclam,

One C in an IB class will definitely not ruin your life. Colleges can forgive a C in one course during one year, and the rest of the information you provided indicates that your transcript is strong overall. While your SAT scores are a bit low, I imagine that your connections at USC and Cornell will help you out. Good luck!

Though it is private, it might help your chances if you let the admissions officers know why your grades have slipped.

this is so funny

Relax one C is not the end of the world. Colleges know we, the applicants, are people. Everyone has that one bad class, nothing you can do now so just move on and hope for the best. And also, they wouldnt just b/c of that C so brush it off.

Funny thing… my bad class is French too… totally bombed the final.
