I have some random questions. Please answer if you can.

Applying to College Common and Coalition Application

<li><p>Concerning the fee waiver, I am confident my family’s financial circumstances would qualify me for one, but I don’t actually meet any of the criteria listed, except I believe that we are within the guidelines referred to by the USDA. but I am not quite sure which column means what in terms of a fee waiver.</p></li>
<li><p>The Common App asks if one wants to self-report standardized test scores. I see no need to since I will be sending official reports. Is it in any way detrimental to me not to self-report?</p></li>
<li><p>In the Activities section, what do PG, FY, SO, and JR mean?</p></li>

<p>Well, I can only answer question #3: PG means post-graduate, FY = freshman year, SO = sophomore, and JR = junior (those 3 are all referring to years in college). So the last 3 will not apply unless you are a transfer applicant. Hope that helps!</p>

<p>Just self report anyway. You might as well it takes like 5 minutes. I’ve got a random question myself though:</p>

<p>If we send ACT scores to the college we are using the Common App to apply to, we’re good right? We don’t have to send scores to the Common App itself?</p>

<p>I would assume that the Common App/College Board guidelines are different then the USDA. You could probably ask the Common App which guidelines they accept.</p>
