What should I choose??? Which one is easier? I got an A- in Algebra 1 and a B in geometry

I didn’t know what Elementary Functions was, so I checked Wikipedia. It appears to be Calculus based, though I didn’t actually read the article, just looked and saw there were partial deratives and integerals. What does your high school give as a description of the class?

Generally Algebra 2 would come next, so I think you should take that. Though I am curious as to what that Elementary functions class is.

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of B- in Geometry Enriched Honors or permission of
department
This course provides an in-depth study of functions and their inverses. Specific functions
studied include polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric
functions. Limit notation is introduced. This is a demanding course that prepares students
for Differential Calculus.

i9t makes no sense to me… i dont know what those words mean but whatever i just want to be in the class that will be the easiest to get a higher grade in

Elementary Functions = Pre-Calculus. I’d highly recommend you just move straight to Pre-Calc… my school had me go to Algebra II/Trig Honors first in freshman year before taking Pre-Calc, but I found that largely unnecessary. As long as you can handle the work, you should be fine.

I don’t think you should skip Algebra 2 all together. A lot of people at my school (and there’s a good shot that it’s the same school fledgling goes to) study it over the summer, and skip it, but you shouldn’t skip the class without at least studying it yourself, especially if you’re not a strong math student. If your B was because you’re lazy and didn’t do homework, and you’re willing to do something more challenging, learn Algebra 2 on your own right now and continue through the year while taking pre-calc. If your B was based on your test grades, take Algebra 2.

so which one would be easier

Algebra 2 is easier.

I’d take pre calc. It prepares you for Math IIc SATs, and also shows that you take the hardest courses possible.
